Petar Markovic

Short biography

  • Born 1974. B.Sc. 1997 (University of Novi Sad). Ph.D. 2003 (Vanderbilt University). 

  • Associate Professor since 2010. 

  • His research interests are in universal algebra and its applications to constraint satisfaction problems, lattice theory, and combinatorics. 




Currently (2011/12), he teaches a course in Theory of Formal Languages, and assists in teaching the courses Algebra 1 and Linear Algebra (all for students of Pure Mathematics).
