Olga Hadžić

Biography

Born 1946. B.Sc. 1968. M.Sc. 1970. Ph.D. 1972. Full Professor since 1981. Academician since 1984. 1996-1998: Rector, University of Novi Sad.

She has taught courses in Probability and Statistics, Fixed Point Theory, Functional Analysis Methods in Numerical Mathematics and Mathematics for student of Chemistry.

Research

Her mathematical interests are in fixed point theory, functional analysis and probability theory. She is the author of 145 scientific papers, 5 monographs and 4 textbooks. She has supervised 3 M.A., 2 Ph.D. theses and was an external adviser of 2 Ph.D. theses defended abroad. She was the Editor in Chief of Univ. u Novom Sadu Zb. Rad. Prirod.-Mat. Fak. Ser. Mat. for many years and the Principal Investigator of one scientific project. She is a reviewer for Math.Reviews and Zentralblatt f fü²¦nbsp;Math.
