Welcome to my personal home page!

I am a full professor at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics, a member of the General Algebra and Theoretical Computer Science group.

My research interests are in:

• semigroups and other related structures with an associative multiplication (such as semirings and rings), with emphasis on their universal-algebraic aspects such as: finite basis problems, algorithmic questions, lattices of varieties, free spectra, etc.

• applications of equational logic in theoretical computer science.
